The Red Poppy Festival has welcomed a who’s who of artists and musicians throughout the years, and this year’s lineup looks to be even better. All three stages will be heating up and pumping out the good vibes with live acts.
On Friday evening, when craftsmen set up their products, fresh smells drift from food vendors, and live music takes centre stage, the fun begins to grow. Plan to walk around the Square and dance your Friday night away.
Highlights from Saturday
The celebration truly takes off on Saturday, when the Poppy Parade and Car Show sets things off. The day is yours to make once the engines are turned off. Athletes can lace up their sneakers for the 5k, and everyone can feast their senses on beautiful arts, scrumptious treats, and toe-tapping melodies at the Fun Zone. Prepare for a lovely Saturday>
Highlights from Sunday
Except for a Sunday Funday spent at the Red Poppy Festival, nothing beats a Sunday Funday. End the weekend with a stroll around the artisan market and a toast to local delicacies to the smooth sounds of a weekend well-played. On closing Sunday, savour the fields of poppies.
