The city of Austin invites its residents for a relaxing and refreshing evening walk at the Lakeline Park on 9th July. Striding along the paved 3.0-mile trail of the Lakeline Loop from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm is the perfect opportunity to escape the city hustle, enjoy nature’s splendor, and to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

Meeting Point

Participants are invited to gather at The Mobile Kayak rentals (GPS coordinates 30°29′13″ N 97°48′54″ W), an easily accessible and popular facility situated inside the park. As the trail is paved, the participants are free to don their regular street shoes for the trek.

Safety Measures

During the trek, you will be solely responsible for your own health and safety and, if any, your guest’s health and safety. City officials are urging participants to prepare adequately for the hike and to ensure they wear appropriate footwear and brimmed hats. They are also advised to bring at least two liters of water to stay hydrated during the trail walk.

Contingency Plans

In case of adverse weather conditions, a cancellation notice will be issued at least one hour before the scheduled event. Organizers strongly recommend participants to keep a check on their emails to stay updated on the event’s status.
