Ralph Gracie Academy to Introduce Brazilian Jiujitsu in Georgetown

Opening of Renowned Martial Arts Academy

Georgetown, a vibrant city, is soon going to witness the opening of Ralph Gracie Georgetown, a prominent Brazilian Jiu-jitsu academy. The academy is expected to commence operation later in the summer.

Owner and Head Instructor

John Simas, the owner and head instructor will direct both group and individual classes in the self-defense and martial art discipline. Catering to all age groups, classes are available for both adults and children.

Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-jitsu

Simas will provide training in both the “gi” and “no gi” variations of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. “Gi” is the more traditional practice involving the use of a uniform and a structured approach. The “no gi” style, on the other hand, is equally effective but less formal. Emphasis is placed on strengthening the student’s discipline and skills development.

Distinctive Fighting Style

The martial arts academy is set to teach the unique fighting style of master jiu-jitsu artist, Ralph Gracie. Ralph Gracie’s technique is renowned worldwide for its effectiveness and strategic approach. The academy aims to instill the same level of skill, discipline, and awareness in its students. The academy maintains exacting standards, offering quality training in both the martial art and self-defense aspects of jiu-jitsu.

Global Presence

There are more than 500 Ralph Gracie academies around the globe, introducing significant numbers of people to jiu-jitsu’s strategic and dynamic world. The academy emphasizes its commitment to equipping students with effective skills for both physical and mental fortitude.
