It all went down in the wee hours, around 3:15 a.m., when a Pflugerville police officer on patrol noticed a pickup truck acting quite suspiciously on the road.

Erratic Driving and Trouble on the Road

That’s exactly what caught the attention of the officer as a 2014 Ford F-150 was seen driving all over the place near 1440 W Pecan St. The officer described a screeching noise followed by a sharp turn onto Pecan Street. Upon a closer look, the truck was emitting smoke or steam, and some serious damage was evident—think missing mirrors and a rear axle that was just asking to be fixed!

A Closer Inspection Reveals Shocking Details

After pulling the vehicle over, the officer made contact with the driver—29-year-old Alexis Saguoia Johns from Pflugerville. What really raised eyebrows was the sight of her child, who was sitting in a car seat in the front passenger seat. But the worst part? The car seat was not properly secured. The poor little one wasn’t strapped in at all! Can you believe it?

During their conversation, Alexis admitted to having a couple of drinks at a local club—two alcoholic beverages, to be exact. She claimed she had stopped drinking 30 minutes prior because she needed to drive her child home. However, the smell of alcohol on her breath told a different story, and her bloodshot eyes and slurred speech raised even more red flags.
