Hey there, El Paso! Exciting news is buzzing around as the 2025 UIL high school state soccer playoffs are kicking off this week! From Thursday, March 20 to Saturday, March 22, our local teams will be battling it out in the bi-district rounds across Classes 4A, 5A, and 6A. Three girls’ teams from El Paso ISD will be vying for playoff success: Andress, El Paso High, and Chapin. The boys’ teams competing include Bowie, Burges, and Irvin. Major stakes are on the line as our teams prepare to battle it out for glory!
On Tuesday, March 25, the girls’ area playoffs will commence. Scheduled matches include Andress facing Lubbock Monterey in Artesia, NM at 4 p.m. MST, alongside El Paso High competing against Amarillo at Astound Stadium in Midland, TX at 1:30 p.m. MST. Chapin will also show off their skills against Amarillo Tascosa at 4 p.m. MST.
Meanwhile, the boys’ area playoffs will feature Irvin against Bridgeport, Bowie against Graham at noon, and Burges taking on Palo Duro at 6 p.m. MST on the same day! Each match is a chance for our talented players to shine!
