Round Rock, Texas – Smokey Mo’s BBQ, a beloved Texas barbecue chain with multiple suburban locations, has announced the relocation of its Avery Ranch restaurant to Round Rock. The move to the new address at 17289 N. RM 620, Ste. 100, Round Rock was finalized on June 24.
The relocation decision was made in response to changes in customer behavior observed during the COVID-19 pandemic, aimed at better serving their clientele and reducing overlap with other locations. The new spot notably offers more convenient features such as a drive-thru.
“During COVID, we saw our guests really change their behaviors with our brand; we’re reflecting exactly what they want through easier pick-up, larger communal tables for gathering, more drive-thru opportunities, and expanded catering capabilities,” said Craig Haley, President of Smokey Mo’s BBQ.
A staple on the Smokey Mo’s menu includes a variety of smoked meats such as tender brisket, juicy pork ribs, succulent chicken, and flavorful sausage, all which can be bought by the pound, or in sandwiches or wraps.
Accompanying these mouthwatering meats are equally delightful sides that include creamy potato salad, comforting macaroni and cheese, and delicious green beans. For a sweet finish, patrons can opt for the homey banana pudding or the traditional pecan pie.
Adding to this, the restaurant also provides breakfast plates, group orders, and catering services, ensuring a full-service experience for all their customers.
With the recent relocation, Smokey Mo’s now operates nine locations spread across northern Austin suburbs. These include two spots in Cedar Park, two in Round Rock including the freshly relocated outlet, and others in the Jollyville area, Leander, Liberty Hill, Georgetown, and Hutto. This move seeks to better serve the local community while also broadening the brand’s reach.
