Teens Arrested in Hutto After Crime Spree Targeting Cars
Hutto, Texas – In a surprising turn of events for the usually quiet community of Hutto, five teenagers were arrested this week following a string of car burglaries and their connection to stolen vehicles from nearby Austin. The Hutto Police Department received a call around 1:40 a.m. on Monday, September 2, alerting them to suspicious activity in the Glenwood subdivision.

Spraggins stated, “Fortunately, we were able to catch them before they were able to leave the area, get a lot of property returned, and later that next morning, find vehicles that were reported stolen out of Austin.”
