Traffic Trouble Ahead
Brace yourselves, folks! By 2042, traffic on U.S. 183 is expected to explode by a whopping 183%! Yikes, you read that right! If we don’t act soon, we could be facing endless congestion, making our daily commutes much less enjoyable. But don’t worry, the Mobility Authority is already on the case with its ambitious 183A Phase III Project.
Building for the Future
This big project aims to extend the 183A Toll Road by 5.3 miles from Hero Way to just north of SH 29, with a grand opening planned for 2025. Not only will this extension help ease the strain on our roads, but it’s also being designed with the local community in mind. By using the existing right-of-way, the Mobility Authority is working to ensure that neighborhoods are minimally affected while providing much-needed relief for commuters.
